Paula Worthington founded Worthington PR & Story in February of this year working out of her home office but she has become so sufficiently busy that she applied – and was accepted – into Trico Changemakers Studio at Mount Royal University.

She says leasing space at MRU has enabled her to gain access to the incredible collaborative spirit of studio members, along with use of boardrooms and meeting space. And she has also been asked to be a guest teacher in the university’s PR classes.

Coinciding with her move, Worthington also launched a subsidiary brand called Noble Arrow Projects, providing PR and communications expertise to companies and organizations that are defined as changemakers, with the help of two MRU PR students.

Brookline PR is finishing off the year with another burst of business having won new client partnerships in real estate, non-profit, tourism and the cannabis industry.

Shauna MacDonald and her team welcomed SKY Residences, Compass Cannabis Clinic (and its retail arm Starbuds Canada) and KidSport Alberta, and she says she is thrilled to be working with Tourism Calgary once again to launch its Ultimate Host 2026 campaign.

SKY Residences is located in the heart of Edmonton’s ICE District. Brookline was selected as a partner of choice to assist in the creation of a strategic marketing communications campaign for the urban-living project in Western Canada’s tallest tower.

The successes have been celebrated with the promotion of Sophie Pilon to account director, Angela Cabucos to senior account manager and the welcoming of Katie Temple as account executive on her return from a PR career in London, England.
